Loyola University Maryland ASPIRE

Loyola University Maryland’s ASPIRE Center for Continuing Education aims to equip individuals and organizational teams with the skills needed to create impactful change in their own lives and the lives of others. They achieve this through a combination of high-value cohort programs, personalized coaching, and skills training courses and credentials.

ASPIRE offers two leadership development programs for emerging leaders and mid-level leaders: Leadership Essentials and Leadership Essentials Women’s Group. Additionally, ASPIRE now offers a Coaching Certificate Program. Our partnership includes a discount on participation in each of these programs for members of ICF Maryland. Watch for opportunities in our chapter communications.

ASPIRE and ICF Maryland also collaborate on presenting continuing education events. Visit the ASPIRE Events Calendar to see what’s coming up! Additionally, our chapter members are called on to provide periodic coaching opportunities as part of the Leadership Essentials programs. Visit our Pro Bono Coaching page to express your interest in serving as a pro bono coach.

Stand Beside Them

Stand Beside Them (SBT) has a mission to coach and empower America's veterans and their spouses/caregivers to achieve success at home, at work, and in the community.

ICF Maryland coaches provide pro-bono coaching support to veterans and/or their family members. As coaches we understand that our support is intended to help veterans or their family members successfully achieve reintegration in work, family and the community. The coaching is fully remote and SBT attempts to pair coaches with 1-2 coachees a year located in the same time zone or same state. Coaches must already hold an ICF credential.

Coaching will not include providing any mental health counseling or any form of psychological or psychiatric assistance to SBT.

If you would like to give back in this arena and are interested in providing coaching to members of SBT, please visit the Stand Beside Them website for more information and/or submit your resume to our Pro Bono Committee.

Maryland Association of Secondary School Principals

The Maryland Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) empowers, develops, and connects school leaders to promote educational excellence and equity. Representing middle and high school leaders across the state of Maryland, MASSP focuses on serving as a voice for school-based leaders, developing the next generation of effective school leaders, and cultivating a more responsive system of governance within the organization to best serve the needs of secondary level administrators statewide.

ICF Maryland and MASSP have embarked on collaborative market research to provide insight on the value of professional coaching and its utilization to support Principals, Administrators, and other Board members for future Pro Bono coaching.
