ICF Maryland is your local chapter of the premier global membership organization for professional coaches. We are a home for hundreds of like-minded coaches, aspiring coaches, and those working in related roles across the state of Maryland. Our members are dedicated to camaraderie, mutual support, and transforming our communities through coaching.

ICF Maryland Membership
Follow one of two paths to membership with ICF Maryland.
Both membership types include the following benefits:
Learn about ICF Maryland membership at our next New Member Orientation Meeting! These quarterly sessions are online and are open to all, including those who have not yet become chapter members. Visit our Event Calendar to find the next New Member Orientation Meeting.
International Coaching Federation (ICF)/Maryland Chapter Membership
Individuals who meet the criteria for membership with the International Coaching Federation and wish to reap its benefits and access our local coaching community typically choose this membership type. ICF Maryland does not charge any additional membership dues. In addition to the member benefits listed above, members of the International Coaching Federation also receive:
- Members-only access to tips, tools, research, and marketing collateral to help grow your business.
- Discounts on ICF Credentials and renewals.
- Discounted registration at ICF Advance educational events and ICF Global Conferences.
- The ability to connect and collaborate with coaches worldwide in an ICF Community of Practice, and via the Engage platform.
- Access and discounts on goods and services offered by ICF Business and Media Partners.
Please follow these instructions to join ICF Maryland in this way:
- Click the button below to access the International Coaching Federation membership page, and join ICF at their regular membership rate.
- IMPORTANT: During the process of joining ICF you will be invited to select a local chapter. At that point please select “ICF Maryland” as your local chapter. There are no additional chapter membership dues.
- Look forward to receiving a welcoming e-mail and outreach from a representative of our membership committee. They will introduce you to our chapter and give you suggestions on how to get involved in chapter events at reduced member rates and network with other coaches. Note: This will not happen instantly, so please allow up to two-three weeks for information to begin flowing.
- Begin to take advantage of all of the benefits of membership with ICF Maryland!
- Please be sure to use the same email address when communicating with ICF and ICF Maryland.
ICF Maryland Associate Membership
Individuals who do not meet the criteria for membership with the International Coaching Federation, who do not have a need for ICF membership, or who would like to join ICF Maryland in addition to another chapter typically choose this membership type. The cost of becoming an ICF Maryland Associate Member is $75/year. Associate Members do not have voting rights within the chapter.
