Program Time: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

In the near future, four generations will come together in the workplace: Baby Boomers (ages 53-71), Generation X (ages 35-52), Generation Y, or Millennials (ages 21-34) and Generation Z, (age 20 or younger), who are next to enter the workforce. At the same time, other social, economic, technological and environmental megatrends are changing the world and the way we do business.

Given these demographic and workplace shifts, what are the opportunities and challenges for the coaching profession?

This program will help coaches strengthen their perspectives, impact, and the coaching cultures of the organizations they serve.

The dynamic panel will cover:

  • How Generations X, Y, and Z are – and aren’t – different

  • The needs of people, demands of clients, and changing intergenerational marketplace

  • How organizations are preparing for and managing the changing workforce

  • Highlights from the 2017 ICF Global Consumer Awareness Study, including unprecedented insights into Millennial and Generation Z awareness of and attitudes toward coaching

  • How to turn these generational insights into connection, action and greater impact

Panelists:

  • Mabel Barron, Director, Human Resources, RCM&D
  • William Craig, III, Adjunct Faculty, Anne Arundel Community College
  • Amy Stumme, CPCC, Maryland Association of CPAs
